I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the sincere wishes for winning “Teacher of the Year.” It is truly touching that my peers appreciate me and value my hard work. I feel compelled to say that winning this award simply allows me to hold my head up high because I am valued and appreciated. The Sequoyah staff has been my family for the last 11 years. What makes our school beautiful are the sweet students and amazing staff. I am proud to be a teacher and I wear this badge of honor with much pride. Thank you again for this lovely recognition.
